This months best review comes from John (At Toyota)
Hi I am a employee from Toyota, currently studying in the Civil Construction Course at Foresite Training. 2 weeks ago I went for my Truck License with Rod Burden, he was amazing. The day before I went for my license a few of us Toyota workers were in the lunchroom and Rod had finished work for the day. But we were asking him questions about the non synchro-gearbox, he was happy to help answering any questions and giving us tips and even a cheat sheet he made up for the gear changes.
Then when I finished my training on the second day my test was straight after lunch, which I did not realise, we had to stick to the time and I asked if I could have a quick practice before my test so he had a 10 minute lunch break so I could have a practice. The things he taught me even made me a better driver in my car. After each course we have to go back to Toyota and I gave excellent feedback and highly recommended Foresite Training, she uses Foresite Training for truck licenses from now on. She is also going to recommend this to all the other case managers so it looks like now thanks to Rod’s great work you could have all of Toyota’s truck licenses.
Also some of the blokes in Civil Construction Course are just about to finish and will be giving there feedback for that which will be good too. This is down to Ben making the theory side of it seem fun, having a joke along the way and explaining everything in detail so we always understand everything. Derek is fantastic on the machines, some of the things he has taught us would of taken years to learn by ourselves. We could be on a machine thinking no one is watching and as soon as we struggled with any task Derek pops up and explains what we are doing wrong. And how to do it better, with all his knowledge and tells us the dangers and his life experiences. Damo is also good as well, always happy to help and explain anything we need and giving us advice.
I have recommended this course to a few people so far telling them its fun. 2 have signed up so far, only approx a quarter of Toyota staff have signed up for courses and a lot are in the process now.
Thanks to these guys Foresite Training will be getting very busy soon and maybe people might start doing Forklift and Warehousing there.
Thanks for your time.
